From August 3^rd a new series of exhibitions “New Arrival” begins at Kaunas City Museum Town Hall. Upon arriving to the museum, a new exhibit has a long way to go before it is ready to meet our visitors. To shorten this path, museologists begin to periodically display the latest and most interesting exhibit of our museum.

Our New Arrival – “Daina” movie theatre tickets, that were used in the 1980s and 1990s. “Daina”, housed in a modernist building and equipped with cutting-edge equipment of the day, was opened in 1936. Unfortunately, after serving its purpose for over half a century, now this building is derelict, and unused tickets illustrate the fate of this and other cinemas of the pre-war period in Kaunas city.
