About the activity

Get acquainted with the life and work of composer Juozas Gruodis. At the beginning of the session, we will visit the memorial exhibition, which covers Gruodis’s personal life, hobbies and activities as a conductor and educator. Later, we will delve into his work and, using the poem by Maironis entitled ‘Jūratė and Kastytis’, we will reenact Gruodis’s ballet which shares the same title.
