Plan your visit to Mikas and Kipras Petrauskas House
In 1924 In the house of brothers Mikas and Kipras Petrauskai, which was designed by A. Golovinskis , the visitors can see the reconstructed interior of the Petrauskai flat from the interwar period.

We are closed on public holidays except on 16 February, 11 March, and 6 July. Closing time is one hour earlier than usual on the days preceding a public holiday. On the last Tuesday of each month, the museum is closed to visitors from 10 am to 12 pm for maintenance purposes.
Tickets
You can purchase tickets at the museum’s ticket office. Payment can be made in cash or by card. Tickets can be purchased up until 30 minutes before the museum closes.

For pre-school children, schoolchildren, people with disabilities, etc. – free
Show list of concessions
Free admission (concessions are only available on presentation of documentary evidence):
- pre-school children;
- pupils and their supervisors;
- orphans and children deprived of parental care;
- persons receiving social assistance;
- people with disabilities and accompanying persons (one person – one attendant);
- persons aged 80 and over;
- Ukrainians withdrawn from Ukraine due to military actions taken by the Russian Federation in Ukraine;
- members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM);
- members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM);
- partner travel agencies, guides accompanying tourist groups.
With 50% discount (concessions are only available on presentation of documentary evidence):
- students;
- persons who have reached the age of state social insurance;
- victims of the 1939-1990 occupations – political prisoners and exiles, former prisoners of ghettos, concentration or other types of forced labour camps;
- Defenders of Lithuanian independence, victims of the USSR aggression of 11-13 January 1991 and afterwards;
- participants in the resistance to the occupations of 1940-1990;
- members of the permanent compulsory military service;
- volunteer soldiers;
- members of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union.
The Museum can also be visited free of charge on the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania (16 February), the Day of the Restoration of the Independence of Lithuania (11 March), the Day of the State (the Coronation of King Mindaugas of Lithuania) (6 July), during the events of the International Night of Museums in May, during the celebration of the birthday of the city of Kaunas, and during the opening of the Museum’s free of charge events and exhibitions.
