About the activity
The Folk Music Museum welcomes visitors with open arms!
Join us in an educational workshop where you will get to make a traditional musical instrument – a charming clay whistle! During the workshop visitors will learn about children’s musical traditions in Lithuania, shepherding culture and its musical intricacies and nuances. The best part – you’ll knead and shape the clay yourself, then in the end you’ll get to decorate your very own little whistle! The melodious handmade instrument will surely please all your friends and loved ones – you’re guaranteed to have an exciting time!
The activity is suitable for people with disabilities. If necessary, it is possible to accommodate families and tailor the activity for different age groups. Optionally, it may be arranged to host the workshop off-site.
