1 Pupils and persons who have reached the age of state social insurance (seniors) are subject to 50% discount.
Exhibits are free to attend (the benefits are limited to proof of the following documents):
- pre-school children;
- students and their supervisors;
- orphans;
- persons receiving social assistance;
- disabled persons and accompanying persons (one person – one attendant);
- persons aged 80 and over;
- soldiers (compulsory and volunteer service);
- Ukrainians withdrawn from Ukraine due to military actions taken by the Russian Federation in Ukraine;
- members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM);
- partner travel agencies, guides accompanying tourist groups.
Free admission to all branches of the Museum:
- the last Sunday of each month (Kaunas Castle (from June 1 until August 31));
- Lithuanian State Restoration Day (February 16);
- Lithuanian Independence Day (March 11);
- State Day (coronation of King Mindaugas of Lithuania) (July 6);
- International Museum Night (in May) events;
- Kaunas birthday celebration on Saturday;
- during the opening of events and exhibitions and during the implementation of projects, programmes, and contracts of the Kaunas City Municipality with the written consent of the Museum Director;
- for families (two adults and at least one child under the age of 18) during “Family Days” organized by the Museum branches.
