Kaunas City Museum Visiting Guidelines
Tickets
Tickets are sold up until 30 minutes before closing time.
Please keep your ticket with you for the duration of your visit to the museum.
Children
For safety reasons, please do not leave small children unattended.
Exhibitions
Please consider other visitors’ experience of visiting the museum and exercise caution when moving around the exhibition.
Please do not touch the museum’s exhibits unless otherwise stated.
Cloakroom
Relevant for visitors to Kaunas City Hall, the Folk Music Museum, and Mikas and Kipras Petrauskas House.
Please leave coats and jackets, backpacks and umbrellas in the cloakroom.
The museum cannot be held responsible for items left behind. Please keep your valuables with you.
Lost-and-found is located at the museum’s box office, where found items are stored for up to 30 days.
Photography
Photography and filming for personal use are free of charge. The use of tripods and flashes is prohibited.
Food and Drinks
To ensure protection of the museum’s material assets, please do not eat or drink in the museum’s exhibition halls. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not admitted to the museum.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the museum’s premises, except in signposted areas.
Pets
Pets are not allowed entry to the museum’s exhibition halls.
Bicycles
Bicycles, scooters, skateboards and other vehicles are not allowed in the museum’s exhibition halls.
Other
It is forbidden to bring weapons, knives and other dangerous objects or materials onto the museum’s premises.
Enforcement
Museum staff have the right to enforce the rules of visitation. Visitors who violate the rules will be asked to leave the premises.
Video Surveillance
To ensure the safety of visitors, the site is monitored by video surveillance.
